King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok

King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok is a renowned public higher education institution in Thailand. With a focus on engineering and applied sciences, the University strives to encourage innovation in science and its application in industry.

Established as a partnership between the German and Thai governments in 1959, it was known then generally as the Thai-German Technical School. Since then, the institution had undergone several expansions, mergers and name changes. In 2007, it was finally renamed King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB).

KMUTNB has 12 faculties and offers a variety of degrees from bachelor to doctorate level. Some programs are taught in English, which makes the University easily accessible for foreign students.

On 15 June 2022, SUSS signed an MOU with KMUTNB to conduct joint research and academic activities in the field of social science, humanities, and behavioural science.
